Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern the relationship between the owner identified on this page and anyone who visits the MetricAlgo public sites, creates an account, or subscribes to the platform.
By creating an account or completing a purchase, the user confirms having read and accepted these Terms. Anyone who does not accept them must refrain from using the service.
Where these Terms conflict with the specific conditions of a particular offer, those specific conditions prevail for what they cover.
What the service is, and what it is not
MetricAlgo provides statistical analysis over historical market series, pre-computed backtests, position sizing tools, and notifications on conditions defined by the user. All material is provided for information and study.
The service is not financial advice, an investment recommendation, a public offering, or portfolio management. The owner is not a financial intermediary and carries out no regulated activity.
- Historical results are no guarantee of future results.
- Every operational decision is taken by the user independently and at their own risk.
- The owner is not liable for losses arising from market positions taken by users.
- Anyone without experience of the instruments covered is invited to consult a licensed professional before trading.
Registration and account
- Registration happens through the subscription flow available on the platform and requires complete and truthful details.
- Credentials are personal: they must be kept safe and may not be transferred or shared with third parties.
- Activity carried out through the account is the responsibility of the account holder.
- Any suspected unauthorised access must be reported without delay to the contact details shown on this page.
- One account per person: accounts shared between several users are not permitted.
Plans, prices and taxes
The service is offered in plans with different features and limits, including a free plan. The features and prices in force are those published on the plans page at the time of purchase.
Besides subscriptions, one-off purchases of specific content or systems may be offered, with the access conditions stated at the time of purchase.
Prices are shown in the currency indicated during purchase. Any applicable taxes are calculated and displayed before the order is confirmed, according to the tax regime of the buyer country.
Payments, renewal and cancellation
Payments are handled through the payment service provider indicated at purchase. Full payment instrument details are processed by that provider and never pass through the owner systems.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the chosen period unless cancelled.
- Cancellation can be requested at any time from the subscription management area and takes effect at the end of the current period: the service stays available until that date.
- A failed payment may lead to suspension of access to paid features until the situation is resolved.
- Price changes are announced in advance and apply to renewals following the announcement; anyone who does not accept them may cancel before renewal.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
Users acting as consumers in the European Union have the right to withdraw within fourteen days of entering the contract, without giving a reason.
Where the digital service is made available immediately, the right of withdrawal is lost once performance has begun with the user express consent and their acknowledgement of losing that right, as provided by applicable law.
- Withdrawal is exercised by writing to the contact details shown on this page, within the stated period.
- Outside cases of withdrawal, amounts already accrued for periods used are not refundable.
- Mandatory consumer rights under the law of the consumer country of residence remain unaffected.
Permitted use and intellectual property
Content, processed data, software and distinctive signs belong to the owner or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property rights.
The user is granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence, limited to using the service under these Terms.
- Copying, reselling, redistributing or making content and analysis results available to third parties is not permitted.
- Bulk extraction of data with automated tools is not permitted, nor is decompilation or any attempt to derive the source code.
- Using the service for unlawful purposes, to circumvent its technical limits, or to harm its availability is not permitted.
- Breaching these prohibitions may lead to immediate account suspension.
Service availability and changes
The owner works to keep the service available and up to date, without guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Interruptions may result from planned maintenance, urgent work, faults, unavailability of third-party providers, or force majeure.
- Features may be changed, replaced or retired for technical or product reasons.
- Changes that substantially reduce the features of a paid plan are announced in advance and give the right to cancel before renewal.
- Market data comes from third-party sources: the owner does not guarantee its completeness, accuracy or continuity.
Suspension and closure
The user may close their account at any time; closure gives no right to a refund of periods already paid for and used.
The owner may suspend or close an account in case of breach of these Terms, fraudulent use, non-payment, or conduct that puts the service or other users at risk.
- Where possible, suspension is preceded by notice, except in urgent cases or where the law requires otherwise.
- Amounts already due remain payable even where suspension results from causes attributable to the user.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for lost profit, lost opportunity, or losses arising from investment decisions taken by the user.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the mandatory rights granted to consumers by applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect legal, technical or commercial developments. The last revision date is shown at the top of the page.
Material changes are communicated to registered users with reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after they take effect counts as acceptance.
Governing law and disputes
The relationship is governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to any more favourable mandatory rules under the law of the consumer country of residence.
For disputes with consumer users, the court of the consumer place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction where applicable law so provides. In all other cases, the courts of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria have jurisdiction.
Consumers resident in the European Union may also use the European online dispute resolution platform made available by the European Commission.
