Data controller
Personal data are processed by the owner identified at the bottom of this page, who determines the purposes and means of processing.
For any request concerning your data, write to the email address shown. Requests are answered within the periods set by law.
Scope
This notice applies to the public sites metricalgo.com, discover.metricalgo.com, support.metricalgo.com and hst.metricalgo.com, and to the platform at app.metricalgo.com.
It does not apply to third-party sites and services reachable through links on the pages: their own notices apply there.
What data are collected
Simply browsing the public sites requires no personal data and involves no profiling. The processing listed below concerns those who create an account or interact voluntarily.
- Registration data: name, email address and access credentials.
- Billing and payment data: what is needed to issue the tax document and collect payment, handled through the payment provider.
- Platform usage data: interface preferences, filters, recently viewed items, saved configurations.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, access times, recorded in logs for security and diagnostics.
- Contact data provided voluntarily: whatever is entered in newsletter sign-up forms or support requests.
Why they are processed and on what legal basis
- Delivering the service and managing the account and subscribed features: performance of the contract.
- Handling subscriptions, payments and accounting or tax obligations: performance of the contract and legal obligation.
- Keeping systems secure and preventing abuse and unauthorised access: legitimate interest of the owner.
- Answering support requests: performance of the contract or legitimate interest in replying.
- Sending the newsletter and informational messages: consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
Who they are shared with
Data are never sold or transferred to third parties for advertising purposes. They are shared only with providers who process them on behalf of the owner, each for its own function and under a binding agreement.
- Payment service provider, for subscriptions and transactions.
- Infrastructure and hosting provider, for running the sites and the platform.
- Messaging provider, for those who sign up to the newsletter.
- Form anti-spam provider, to prevent automated submissions.
- Professionals and advisors, limited to accounting, tax and legal obligations.
Where they are processed
Processing takes place mainly within the European Economic Area.
Some providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer relies on the safeguards required by law, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or an adequacy decision.
How long they are kept
- Account data: for the duration of the relationship and, after closure, as long as needed to meet legal obligations or defend a right.
- Accounting and tax data: for the period required by applicable law.
- Technical logs: for a limited period, proportionate to security and diagnostic purposes.
- Newsletter contact data: until consent is withdrawn or the address is removed from the list.

Data security
The owner applies technical and organisational measures appropriate to protect data against unauthorised access, loss and unlawful processing, including encrypted transport of communications and access control on systems.
Access credentials are personal: keeping them safe is an essential part of account security.
